Prespecs are technical inspections prior to major repair or conversion jobs and describe the nature and extent of works to be carried out. This makes projects more manageable and provides clarity regarding project duration, costs and additional work.
Experienced and specialized personnel will carry out the inspections on site. The findings are summarized in a report or tender document. The contents of this document will give valuable information which can be used in the design or tendering process.
Prespecs are available for:
- dry-docking of ships;
- conversion of ships and equipment;
- major repairs.
