Salvage consultancy: Method statement for wreck removal
For a wreck removal in the Northern part of Africa we have prepared a method statement, including:

- weight estimate
- establishing anchor forces and pattern
- general arrangement drawings
- providing detailed step-by-step plans


Salvage Consultancy: Wreck Removal Vinca Gorthon
Royal Roos provided technical input for the Dutch Government (Rijkswaterstaat Dienst Noordzee) during the preperation and execution phase of the Wreck Removal project of the RoRo vessel "Vinca Gorthon".

Life Time Extension SSCV Hermod
Royal Roos has done a desktop study to assess the actions necessary to keep the SSCV Hermod operational in the future (Life Time Extension). The results have been presented in a report.  Actions and related costs are summarized as per functional group. This includes a prediction of in-house engineering hours to prepare LTE related work packages.

Calculation of paint area of H-851 barge
An estimation has been made of the paint area of the ballasttanks of the H-851 launch barge of Heerema Marine Contractors.

Stability calculations for a barge loaded with offshore equipment
For the transport of a topside module and jacket structure on a barge Royal Roos provided stabililty calculations.


Docking of SSCV Hermod in Dubai at DDW-D
The SSCV Hermod of Heerema had to undergo scheduled repair and maintenance. Due to the size of the vessel only some of the dry-docks in the world can handle these giants. Dubai dry-docks is one of the yards with a large enough dry-dock to accommodate the Hermod.

Urgent delivery of stainless steel sleeves for rudderstock while in dock
Part of the scope of the docking of a vessel in Dubai at Dubai Drydocks was the removal of the tailshafts and rudderstocks for inspection.
